Yeah, torrents are kinda like a table of contents. You download a torrent and all it does is let you use a program like Azureus, Shareaza, BitLord, etc. to download the actual file. The torrent tracks the download and puts it all together for you because you'll be downloading from hundreds of people in tiny parts.
For that reason, there isn't really a "faster" site because it's all subject to how many people have a file vs. how many are trying to download it, and with people as equally spread across the internet as they are, the results are likely to be the same everywhere. You get lucky sometimes, and sometimes you don't.
