Are you sure that's sustained. 100mbits is hard to hit those rates like that. Switches/routers have so much overhead, I don't think it's possible. I've done plenty of university network transfers and I only topped out around 6 - 7 MB/sec.
As for comcast, I've sustained 800 KB/sec getting Ubuntu off torrents. Today's Comcast's Powerboost does not count otherwise my 16mbits on DSLReports should too...

That speed is not out of the question by any means....I used to consistently sustain 10.5 MB/sec at my university FXP'ing from outside servers. I am somewhat surprised that giganews can provide that fat of a pipe though! They max out my 12Mbit line no problem, but maxing out a 50 or 60Mbit line is pretty impressive!
