Fastest Processor that I can put in an Acer V66M mobo - It's for an Aptiva 2163-540

This mobo has 100mHz FSB and is jumpered - linky

It appears to have multipliers of 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, and 5.5. What is the fastes cpu I can shoehorn in this bad boy?

Will a slotket help get a faster chip in there?

If you said that the highest multiplier is 5.5 then it shoud be able to run a 550 Mhz CPU

P3 450 works ok with one minor bug. the bios dosn't support the p3 causing the boot to pause and prompt the user tohit a key to complete booting. im sure you'll be ok with the 550.
