Fastest PCI graphics card?

A not terribly computer savvy friend of mine bought a pre-built piece of crap with "onboard agp graphics" and no actual agp slot. She isnt to happy with the speed of the OB graphics in games (duh) but its too late for her to return the comp. Only thing faster than a fx5200/ATI9200 I have been able to find is this. But, that doesnt seem to actually be for sale anywhere I can find. There something else out there a lil speedier I'm missing?

They make PCI Raedon 9100's (ie renamed 8500LE's) that's the fastest PCI card made to my knowledge. Hope this helps... 🙂

I would recommend against buying any PCI card. You can get a $26 motherboard from newegg (PCChips M811LU), assuming it's an AMD system with a 266MHz FSB or slower processor.

its pre-built so chances are its intel.. and i'd guess a dell?

how much do they care about gaming?
if its a significant amount then they'd want to get a new mobo and AGP card.

I second that, because there are plenty of pretty cheap motherboards out there. And that makes the most sense, because if a PCI 5200/9200 isn't good enough, you might as well get a new motherboard with AGP slot.
