I have a fugly spare, so it's not a huge deal.. But my dog ate my favorite pair of glasses and I don't want to spend $400, going to my local eye glasses boutique.

I've ordered from zenni in the past but packages have taken 3+ weeks to come through...Any of the other guys any quicker, for East Coast USA purchases?

Thanks!

Hm, our Zenni orders typically show up in just about two weeks, and we've ordered from them three times (I live in the Midwest).

$400 frames and/or eyeglass?!? Holy crap, batman. :p I think I spent around $200 for the glass and Nautica frames at a local store. I opted for contacts and haven't looked back.

I was told as a kid to never buy expensive eyewear, especially for daily use. It'll always get banged up, scratched, bent, or lost. To this day, that statement still holds its truth.

Best of luck to ya!

I broke my glasses over the weekend and had to shell out $338 for a new pair. The frames were only $145, but I got raped by the lenses, which were $179 without an anti-reflective coating (I am regreting cheaping out $70 right now; everything's reflecting). On the bright side, it only took 3 days. Glad I had contacts for those days, but I can't stand how dry my eyes get. No idea on fast online places. You could request a 'sample pair of soft contacts to bide you over...

Hope the dog doesn't have a stick up it's ass requiring an operation.

Jugs

I used them for my last order. They were quick, about a week to my door. With some up-sells I think it cost me less than $70. I've had this pair for 2 years now. (I just use them at night after I take out my contacts.

I'm sure glad my insurance covers the lenses 100%. The frames can be free, but I'm limited on the selection. I'd hate not having anti-reflective coating though. I will sometimes grab the closest pair and stick with them, but they don't have any special treatment to them.
