need to put something better than integrated gfx in my wife's slim HP desktop...what's the fastest lowpro card out there? hard to find reviews on them. I have a 5450 in my htpc that I could use if there isn't anything faster...
 
You can get a single-slot PowerColor 7750, that's fastest single-slot, without power. Otherwise... there isn't much choice left, 6450/GF210 perhaps. I'd keep 5450, if she doesn't game, though.

I would get the 6570 and just drag the slider in catalyst.

Because these low power cards can't really utilize the memory bandwidth of gddr5 all that well anyway.

And the core clocks of the 6670 and 6570 are comparable.

the best option for the price is the 6570 w/ gddr3


I say this also because BOTH cards suck at gaming. 6670 is better yea, but it's still [not very lovely]. 🙁
