Fastest IDE Hard Drive

Thanks for the help Fullmetal but that site doesn't have any performance benchmarks for IDE drives if I'm looking at it correctly (only SATA, SCSI). I'm trying to do a little DD but there doesn't seem to be any reviews for this model.

Actually, IDE drives are included - they are labeled "ATA". Unfortunately, most of those drives are older models. SR is pretty small, and in the past has been cash-strapped, so the # of drives in their performance db is small relative to the drives on the market. Also, most folks are going SATA these days (my main drive is IDE, Luddite that I am) so most reviews focus on that.

Is there a certain application you are using that necessitates the hard drive to be the "fastest"? I would think that all quality drives of similar specs - size, cache, rpm, etc - would offer similar performance.
