The one that sticks in my mind, is the eBay auction of Spanky's Lifer account. That thing must have had 20 posts a second!
 
Once long ago when i first joined, when nefs were acceptable...I made a thread where it was like "get your nefs out" then i replyed to it like 10 times with "nef", then a few other people did it...then some guy decided to like flood the forums and reply to it 3000 times in like a few minutes...hehe...i was banned thread was deleted 🙂
 
What about the "butter" thread?

There was also the one about that idiot that said his AMD processor ran too hot and caught fire when the heatsink was off. He then poured water on it. It was one of the most hillarious threads evar. *search for "my computer caught fire".

I don't know if that one was the fastest growing, but definitely an entertaining read. About Kev1n, and this cute girl he worked with. It was unprecedented, because he had fellow AT'ers letting him borrow THEIR digital cameras for pics to post.
