Im looking for your peoples opinions/suggestions on the fastest data storage solution you know about. Im looking for the fastest effective transfer rates, and lowest CPU consumption. Dont think about cost right now. I need at least 40mb/sec with little or no cpu overhead. Im thinking SCSI Ultra Wide 160. What about you?
 
Ultra160 is currently the fastest SCSI interface available. Ultra320 will be the next generation standard. As for now, Ultra160 is the fastest it'll go. If you wanna go the fastest you'll probably wanna do a RAID 1+2 solution as well.
