I currently have an XP 2000+ in it..and although it says that my the latest BIOS release for it added support for that chip...nothing higher.

I was wondering if I can get a faster CPU for it? I know I am stuck with a 133mhz fsb chip. If this cpu is the fastest one I can go with...then I might be doing an upgrade soon! :)

BIOS allows up to 170 fsb. (IIRR)

You should be able to use barton, if desired.
(you will need to unlocked one for multi's other than defualt)
(or get a mobile :) )

Yeah, I have options up to 170mhz but there are no pci/agp locks or dividers for speeds over 133mhz. The onboard scsi doesnt work past 145mhz or so :(

I was thinking of possibly picking up a 2800+ or so...but now that I think about it I might just get a A64 S939 and a mobo for it. I have all the parts for it..just need a new cpu/mobo.
