Fastest CPU for Asus P3B-F? (Whether overclocked or not)

Edit: This has already been answered in another post.

I was wondering what the quickest CPU is that can be put on the Asus P3B-F motherboard. The manual is vague (I might be a max 8.5 multipler and max 140mhz bus speed)

I currently have a PIII 550E (FlipChip w/ Iwill Slocket) O'Ced to 733mhz on it and am debating whether or not to take the Motherboard to its limit. I don't plan to upgrade to DDR until summer.

Thanks.

In the FAQ it says to adjust the slotket voltage to 1.8. The slotket i purchased the ASUS S370-DL allows for lower adjustments. My motherboard the P3V4X shows in the bios that my present slot 1 processor vcore is at 1.65. Should the slotket be set at 1.8 as the FAQ describes or at the vcore for my processor which will be a P3 1 ghz? Presently my board is in jumper free mode so the bios is detecting the processor, will this need to be changed as well?

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

The P3V4X fully supports Coppermine processor voltages, and does not need manual voltage setting (I guess that the table in my FAQ is not too clear for the P3V4X).

You only need to set the voltage where the motherboard cannot handle VRM 8.4 (Coppermine Voltages).

So then I would set the slotket to the cpu default setting and the board will detect the proper voltage?

Thanks again, another upgrade success due to your assistance:).

EXCLUDING Tualatin. The P3B-F is not compatible with the Tualatin processor, unless you get the PowerLeap Slotket iPL3.
