Hi,
I have an ABIT KT7 - RAID with an Athlon 750. It's been a great combination and I have had it overclocked to 900 for a while. The temperature gets up to 54 degrees but I have never had any problems. I was thinking of stuffing a new CPU in the brute and was wondering what the board will take. I looked at a 1.4 GHZ Athlon but don't know if the board will support it. There are 2 types. A 200 FSB and a 266. I'm sure the KT7 is a 200 FSB job. Would the 266 FSB CPU work? Interestingly enough the 266 is cheeper than the 200!!!! What about the new XP CPU, will the KT7 handle any of them?
Thanks
Pete
