Fastest CPU for Abit BE6?

It says at the site that the highest it can go up to is 700 MHz

But I'm pretty sure that it can go up to the highest 100 MHz bus CPU and that would be 800 MHz

Might even be able to take it to a gig, not sure on the voltage though.

Yeah, that's what I found... 700 MHz as the highest doesn't seem right to me. I will look around some more.

I had a P3-600 o/c to 840Mhz on a BE6 so that info is wrong for starters. I would say there is no reason why you couldnt run up to a P3-1000 on a BE6.

I have a BF-6 w/c is the BE-6's cousin. Flashed with the latest bios, my BF-6 is running a Slot 1 P3-1000 based on the 100 Mhz FSB.

The BE6 has the 1/4 PCI divider @ 133Mhz FSB so as long as your video card cna handle 89Mhz AGP speed (which most can these days) then you should be able to run the 1000(133) chip even. I used to run my BE6 @ 133Mhz FSB.

Long live BX!
