Fastest Compact Flash card out there? ***URGENT***

Please note that what's important to me is the READ speed of the card, the WRITE speed is utterly irrelevant. I'm saying this because CF cards are mostly used for digital photography where writing speeds are what matters so that's what's usually flaunted. I won't be using it for that, I'll be using it as a "Write a few times" "Read a whole bunch of times" media.

Please give url of your source and keep in mind that some comparisons out there are old (2002-2004) and may be obsolete...

I need an answer urgently so please, please, if you can help, reply!

the first bazillion pages of this arcticle is testing write speeds in various cameras, which isn't what you are after. The link should take you the pc transfer speed tests for compact flash, which might be more in line.

Looks like Sandisk extreme III leads the pack. They've got a minimum 20MB/sec r/w rating, according to sandisk.

Kingmax makes some pretty fast Flash cards, but I've seen nothing like the SanDisk mentioned above.
