I have a Tyan Tiger S2460 dual AMD motherboard running FSB=200/266 a pair of AMD 2000+ MP chips. What are the fastest MP rated chips that this motherboard will run? It does not have a voltage tweak or a FSB tweak. So, I am limited to the current FSB. The Tyan website is not specific since the board is over 2 years since its introduction. I thought that I read that the 2600+ is the fastest MP chip; but I am not certain about the voltage difference between it and the 2000+ MP.

I'm not exactly sure, but I don't think the 2600+ will work because it is a TBred (I assume). I think they need a bios update for the TBred, but I'm not sure. I tried a 1800+ Tbred B in mine (single cpu) and it only recognized it as a 1533 Athlon, not an athlon xp/mp like it should.

I have 1800 Tbred and 1800-whatever-was-before-tbred XP's in my Tiger, and they work fine. I also have the 1.03 version of the board, if that makes a difference.
