Hi,
I was wondering what the fastest AMD CPU is that I can put on my KT7A-RAID? What's a video card that will provide max utilization of CPU and Video Card?

T-Bird 1.4ghz was the last official I believe, but it will likely run newer CPUs. I had the KT7 and could manually set it up to run unsupported models. A t-bred B and a high multi should work well enough.

Socket A, right? It's not still described on their web site? See if there is a link to "discontinued products". (Yes, the link was there, but the description was lame and far from complete.) Of course, you also have the situation that XP's are discontinued as well . .

Whether any other MB makers who used the Via KT-133A chip sets had different options is no longer easy to know, but my Gigabyte ZXE boards were XP 1800 and XP 2100 capable in each case (version 1.0 topped out with the 1800, while the Rev. 2 version would run a 2100 correctly, and didn't choke with faster ones, up to the 2400's, but just couldn't run them any faster than the 2100 would run.

palamino 2100+ is the fastest cpu that is offically supported..but you need revison 1.3 or better...1.4Ghz T-bird is the fastest for rev 1.2 or less

unless you use a hacked bios.
