I've got 2x256 of low latency corsair ram right now, and am looking for something more...

My board's got 3 dimms, and im a fan of the whole dual channel thing, and i think im gonna have this rig for a while, so my options are:

1) get 2 sticks of 1GB each (seems like no one has faster than pc3200 on one 1GB stick for now?)
2) get 1GB and arrange that somehow w/ my existing stuff if i get more pc3200
3) scrap what i got and grab a gig of pc3200 or faster ram

what'll yield the best performance gain? will the 2gb option be that much better than the 1 gig w/ faster ram (for the cost)?

soon i think i might get an abit nf7 & mobile 35w 2400+ and push it as high as i can w/ air, so with that in mind...

thanks!

With that system, if you're just planning to game, 1GB is probably the best balance.

XPs don't really benefit much from dual channel unless the onboard video (nForce2 IGP) is being used, so you could just drop in 1x512MB to get things up to snuff.
