I was curious to see what kind of chains there are in your area. This is spawned by the fact that there are not an Jack in the Boxes around here. I am keeping the list to stand-alone fast food establishments. No sit down and order places or mall eateries.

I'm in Louisville, KY (USA)
McDonalds (duh)
Hardees
Arby's
Burger King
Dairy Queen
Fazoli's
Subway
Blimpie
Wendy's
Taco Bell
Taco's Too
Long John Silvers
KFC
Lee's Famous Recipe
Bojangles
Moby Dick

I may have forgotten some...

Yeah, we have a couple. One on piedmont ... it's like a Mrs. Winner's/Del Taco combo.

There are no Long John Silvers in the Bay Area, sorry... I managed one when I was in collge. The closet we have is a place called

'Fish & Chips'

The nearest LJS is in Tracy...

In n' Out is one of the best fast food burger joints around. They're pretty famous, but I think they are a California only chain.

And yes, there are Long John Silver's in the Bay Area. My cousin lives 10 minutes away from one, in the Hercules area.

Papa Johns is actually based here in Louisville. Hell they paid for our stadium at U of L. The original is about 15 minutes from my apartment. How long have they been on the west coast? Papa John's is actually a relatively young company.

Papa John's makes the worst pizza's I have ever tasted. They're very cheap though. Each pizza has barely enough toppings to coat the sauce, and they stop a good two inches from the edge of the crust. You have to order the pizza with extra everything just to get it to look like a regualar pizza.
