details: McDonalds...fast food. Not looking for any kind of great service.
Not going to get into race or anything like that so don't ask. This is just about service industry people today and IMHO any color person could have done this.
We are in line, pretty deep and the cashier / manager kept referring to this one dude as 'penis head'. It got mixed reception from those that heard it...most were really too involved in their shopping discussion/picking out what to order.
In front of us was a couple that was pretty affected. They ended up leaving. A couple other people were mixed bag on laughing about it / upset.
I get to the front of the line and as my order comes up she says "HEY PENISHEAD, I NEED THAT QUARTER[pounder]". As she throws it on my tray I mention if she thought calling someone 'penis head' was appropriate here. I think she heard this before as she immediately snapped at me "THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE CALLS HIM." I replied that I don't think he has a problem with it, but it's making some of your guests pretty uncomfortable and the couple ahead of us walked out of here. She replied "IT'S NOT PROFANITY, IT'S SCIENTIFIC!"

I wasn't about to argue with a teenager over this...but simply told her scientifically it's still offensive. Another person in a group of people already sitting and eating commented "CAN YOU STOP THIS PENISHEAD, I AM TRYING TO SWALLOW". Which I sort of cracked up about. The freak cashier did some kind of happy dance over it.
I just wanted some quick food without drama...the messed up thing is if people are this retarded to what the customers see, WTF they doing in the back with the food as a joke?
