Fast compact flash cards - Lexar vs PQI

I went to a wedding this weekend where a photographer was using a D-SLR camera with 40X CF cards. I wasn't aware that anything that fast was available, now I want one for my Dimage S414. I needed a larger card anyway (128 MB just isn't enough when shooting in TIFF format), so I might as well get the best.

After doing some searching I found two brands of 40X cards - Lexar and PQI.

PQI is significantly cheaper, but I haven't been able to find ANYTHING as far as speed tests, reviews, etc.

I'm looking at either a 512 MB or a 1 GB card. It will be used in the S414 and a USB2 flash reader, so the media speed is definitely the weakest link.

Is PQI any good, or should I spend the money & get the Lexar pro series?
