Men should not wear red sweater... imho
Men should not even know what color periwinkle is... or that it is even a color.
Men wearig pink... nu-uh.

You should not wear navy blue, baby blue or anything that is too contrasting.

Grey is nice with black.

:)

White teeshirt with a brown buttonup dress shirt on over it, may'be with some red in it, untucked. Black watch, brown belt, brown shoes. Spiked hair with highlights.

I shop at thrift stores. If I have a question about clothes it is, "What color is this? Is it green or brown?" Being color blind sucks.

Here's the metro in me coming out..

Black jeans...anything dark, or of a neutral color goes well with them. Don't wear brights, and don't wear browns, and finally, don't wear a black shirt with black jeans. Grey looks good, white looks good, dark green looks good, etc...etc...really, pretty much you can wear the same stuff that you would wear with a pair of blue jeans.

don't ask about fashion in ATOT- if anyone links to my abercrombie thread from a few months ago, you'll see why.

Actually I would say a strong colored or white poloshirt...... then I re-read your post. Personally I don't like multicolored things that looks like a paintshop has exploded. Otherwise a slimfit T-shirt in 1-3 colors maybe with some sort of print. When weraing black you need some contrast otherwise you just fade into the masses. (unless you have some very special outfit :p)

*snap* Wrong!

1- Never wear brown with black

2- Leather watch band should match belt/shoes. If the watch is metallic it should match other jewelry.

Personally, anything is good with black EXCEPT BROWN.

I'm thinking that colorful shirts stand out well with black pants. Like one-colored collar polos. Anyway, I went with the Sky-blue polo shirt and people said i looked good.

Thanks community!
