i drove from rpi in troy, ny to stockton state college at exit 44 on the garden state in nj and back a couple of days later by myself. not very far, but the farthest with just me in the car.

Drove to Vegas from San Diego and back when I got married. That's about 330 miles going one way if I recall correctly. Second farthest? Probably from San Diego to Palm Springs and back...

Portland, OR to South Bend Indiana (where Notre Dame University is). about 2200 miles i believe. it did it by myself and i did it without sleeping or really stopping other than restroom breaks and gas stops, about 40 hours. I did the same trip round trip twice that year.

About 4000 miles. Drove home from the navy in my new 64 1/2 mustang. Drove from virginia to Washington, but did all kinds of looping around and general sightseeing. Took a while, but very fun along the way.
