"Obama sat on his hands for 3 weeks"

First of all, this is a lie, plain and simple. Anybody that does not know it is has not been following the news at all. Shooting your guns, much like shooting off your mouth, is not the end all, be all of the universe.

Secondly, Obama followed the rules of the international community (you know, the modern civilized world) before pulling the trigger. Those of you that think the U.S. can run around the world blowing shit up whenever we feel like it, without penalty, are a little nuts.

But we are running around and blowing shit up in Libya right now. Does it matter to the dead and dying that the bombing is approved by the U.N. or not?

Maybe not, but there's still a difference between a legal action and in illegal military action. You know, like the allies defending themselves in WW2 and Nazi Germany just conquering countries out of desire for ethnic cleansing.

If they were going to do it at all the UN should have enacted the "No Fly Zone" three weeks ago or at least before he beat the rebels back down into a small corner.
