So im in the market for a HK receiver, love the look and the conservative power ratings...
Im scouring Ebay to pick up one around $400 total, with SquareTrade 3yr warranty.
I have a few questions:
1) The Video processor upscales all inputs to upto 1080p on HDMI out, would this upconverter be better then the one in my Sony KDL-S2010?
2) With a power rating of 75W@7, but only using a 5.1 setup would 525W be split into 5 channels or would it still push75W to channel, regardless of #channels driven?
3) If 2 is true, would i save a few bucks getting the model below this rated at 50W@7ch?
4) Or am i on wrong track and the Onkyo's better products all around?
5) Any comments on SquareTrade Warranty?
