"Sign me in automatically" my ass... it randomly decides to ask your password on subsequent tries... close your browser and go back a few times... (even within seconds). Happens in both IE and FF.

Doesn't happen with Yahoo Mail or Gmail. They always remember.

I'd accept that if it was consistent. But it isn't, so that's obviously not the answer.
 
i been having the same issues with Ebay lately, it states sign in but when i click My Ebay it asks for my password. Happening both at home and work.

well that's a security thing with them... ebay has always asked me to sign in (again) if I'm changing anything or adding to my watchlist, etc.

It didnt use to happen, now i get it all the damn time.
 
^^^ Anybody get Hotmail to remember them (without asking for their password again) ? This is just frustrating since it's totally random when it does and does not work. It seems Trillian's link to Hotmail (when I click on the you have Hotmail icon) always bypasses the login screen so I tried to emulate the same link it uses but that fails to work.

Anyone in the same boat ? Anyone get it to always remember the damned cookie ? I've even tried using the FireFox password manager but it never asks me to remember for Hotmail.
 
it used to remember me but then it stopped remembering me about a month ago. occasionally it remembers me.
