FARK: Whoa.

Not over the internet, but in my youth group we've done this a few times. They start with a small cactus for $2 or something similar and ask passerbys and shops if they agree to trade it. After two hours, they usually have things like t-shirts , perfume, a tart, advertising gifts and so on.
