fark = sellout

fark is a blog?

the only thing I've heard about this was a post from Drew, about how Fark gets paid to have preferential websites (ie: if five websites are showing the exact same story, the one giving money to Fark is the one whose link makes the front page).

all in all, though, I'm ok with it. it's not like they're linking directly to advertisements or somehow conning visitors. you visit Fark to read ammusing news stories; as long as the news stories continue to get posted, I don't care what goes on behind the scenes.
