Why are there no pictures of it going faster than about 40 mph ?

I am skeptical anyone's ever driven it any faster..

What you saw was just the torque plate, not the part being bored itself (the camera angle didn't get a good shot of it)

No....i'm going so fast that the time continuum has changed the relativeness of the color of my skin so that it APPEARS that I am a 'white German guy' 😉
