So the UFO was just a random air biscuit that they dropped into the show?

I sort of liked the way Milligan's story ended. It was a little like 'welcome to hell.' Orientation will begin right after we shove something pointy up your butt. But you do have a window that opens and you might be able to squeeze through if you'd rather jump.

OK, thanks. Still seems like a bizarre thing to just drop in like that. As a general rule, I don't appreciate inside jokes in tv series.

Incredible season, just didn't like the finale. In fairness it would be so hard to top the previous episode with all that went on but it just seemed to fizzle and was a little boring/weird. The Milligan thing was funny, bet he didn't expect a reward like that, but still on the whole I was hoping for a little more. I forget though, what happened to Hanzee's face? Did someone throw acid on him? Who?

Peggy threw hot coffee on him.

Overall I was a little underwhelmed by the finale - other than wrapping up the Peggy/Ed/Hanzee plot line, the entire thing was basically an epilogue. It was a fitting end, but we have seen some great finales on these kinds of shows in recent years (including Fargo Season 1), so I was expecting more to happen than what we got.

Oh that's right I remember the coffee scene now. The problem with the finale is 2 main storylines, the Gerhard's and Mike Milligan, essentially ended at the end of the previous episode. All that really was left was the police chasing Hanzee chasing Peggy and Ed. Lou's wife was a side-story that they focused on a lot at the end but honestly I didn't care about her, the way they filmed her collapsing in the previous episode made me think she died anyway so she was out of my head. The UFO thing turned out to be a red herring too, not sure what I expected out of that but more than just a few saucer cameos for sure.

I recently re-watched Season 1 with my fiancee, and I think as a whole I preferred it. Billy Bob, in particular, was just amazing. In any case, I really liked S2 as well. While I admit I was initially skeptical of the idea of a Fargo series/mini-series, I have found the two seasons to be the best shows on TV in their respective calendar years, by a fairly wide margin. True Detective Season 1 had some extremely strong parts, but as a whole it pales compared to Fargo Season 1 in my view. I really haven't seen anything else this year that I would put on the level of Fargo Season 2. Overall I think Fargo is the best show since Breaking Bad.

Outstanding show.
The juxtaposition of Betsy vs Peggy was awesome. Two people in the same place but completely different mental maturity.
Leaving the Hanzee story hanging in suspense in the end.
Mike Milligan getting his "just rewards".
The wrap up of Hank and his "room". It was mature and brilliantly written.

My favorite show all year.

I'm watching with the fx app on firestick. I have one question. WHY DO THE 3 COMMERCIALS THEY PLAY OVER AND OVER HAVE TO BE SO LOUD!!!!!

I agree with Don Vito, Fargo is the best show on TV since Breaking Bad. It seems so well put together. I'm sad that S3 isn't going to be out until 2017.

I did some reading yesterday and apparently Hanzee's new name (Mr. Tripoli) is the name of the boss of the guy that bullied Lester in S1. One of that boss's henchmen/enforcer was a deaf guy. So, it looks like he really did put together his own empire after saving the deaf kids.

I just finished the second season, and I thought it was awesome. Way better than the 1st season. Best show on tv right now.

So rare to get so many great performances in one show. I mean just how good were All the sons (and daughter) Mom, slimy cousin? The Lawyer, dying Mom,Father in Law and Trooper? Heck even the Cook in the diner died a hero. Throw in assorted henchmen, mob bosses and never forget Mike.
Writing, Direction and performances all top notch.

I had not been aware of this show until last week. Just binge watched both seasons. Damn this is one of the best shows in recent years. Perfectly captures the tone of Coen Brothers film. Great quirky characters, clever plotting. I can't decide which season I like more because both were awesome. Too bad season 3 won't air until 2017. Bah.
