FARCRY

I bought the original Baldur's Gate game for my friend's son some time ago, it was eight discs, I believe. I bought it later with the expansion, and all of it was on one or two discs.
 
Man your life must utterly suck if having to put in 5cds irritates you enough to post.
 
They need to release games that would require more than 1CD on DVDs. If you don't have a DVD drive, but you have a computer powerful enough to play these games, something is wrong.

Not really..I am jsut an impatient man....

I left my house @ 6:59am and got back @ 10:30pm> I wanted to play a newly-purchased Farcry, only to have to sit here waiting...

agreed! There is no reason NOT to use DVDs anymore.

Its a DVD.

I don't mind CD's though. I just make an image of the run disk and run it with daemon tools. I hate swapping around CD's hehe.
 
I agree 100%. It's getting silly nowadays. It seems like the few games that do offer it on DVD, like UT2004, they charge more too. :|

Pretty soon, we will be seeing 6, 7 or 8 CD's...:|
 
heh, it might be cheaper for them to release the game on their own 20-40gb harddrive eh? might as well for the price you'd pay for them considering the number of discs they have on some games.
