farcry problem

Can someone help me real quick. Farcry keeps quiting on me every time I play for about 5-10 minutes. Is this a game bug or a system error?

My system spec is in my sig.

Yeah Im getting that same problem so Im DLing the patch right now to see if it fixes it. If that doesnt fix it then its definately an Nvidia driver bug because it never did that with the 53.04's but now does it with the versions after that. If you arent using an Nvidia card than the problem could lie elsewhere.

I'm running 1.1 patch and catalyst 4.4s

My problem has been solved with the 1.1 patch so I guess its a different story with you. Good luck with that ATI and I hope it works out for you.

Do you have similar problems in other games?

Start with the basics: make sure you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system and don't overclock anything.

Heat isn't an issue, and I just finished playing 2 hours of counterstrike nonstop and everything is working fine. It seems the issue is with Farcry only

And the patch didnt fix it? That's a bit odd, maybe its your game settings.

make sure fastwrites are off and agp is set to 4x in the smartgart tab.

Ok, I updated bios to 1016 and turned fastwrites off. I reinstalled 1.1 patch, but it said it was already installed. I guess I'm one unlucky gamer
