farcry not loading textures properly

I assume there should be textures on the ground under the grass, there aren't. Print screen isn't working with the game, so I can't post a screenshot (unless somone knows of another way). But the textures on the ground will usually be gone and sometimes appear and dissapear depending on what angle I am looking at them from. Any help would be appreciated.

Brand new XFX 7800GT.

The default button for screenshot is F12 in Farcry.

I assume you don't get similar errors for any other 3D apps/games? But yeah, there should be textures there . . .

Something similar actually happened to me once when the textures under the grass would just turn black after a certain time period. I forgot what I did to fix it but usually it's a driver issue . . .

Use FRAPS or F12 in Farcry so we can see the problem.

It seems like 1Dark guy has the right idea, there should be sh!t there, probably a driver issue, probably heard it before, can't remember anything about it, etc. Ahh the flaws of the human brain and not remembering 😛

do you have the game patched up to 1.32??
