FarCry Loading Problems

I just installed FarCry. When i tried loading it, it would just freeze at the splash screen. I reinstalled, and then installed the patch, still the same problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What power supply are you using for your system? Are those specs in your sig all correct?

I am using a 380 Watt Antec True Power. All the specs are right, I have no problems with any other games...

Farcry has that problem if your video card is OC'ed more then it likes, if your vid card isnt overclocked try reinstalling the video drivers

That's strange, my vid card came OCed out of the box, and came with farcry, this isnt right...

EDIT: This is sad, i went on vid card forums and they said the only way to get around this problem was by getting the No-CD patch, lol. It works great now. But this is just pathetic.
