Farcry Console issue? User error?

Thought I'd try the new beta patch, and its been awhile since I played the game, but I recall using"~" to bring up the command console...but its not working for me...likely due to user error methinks. What should I use to bring up Farcry's command console?

tilde key doesn't bring up the console in farcry for me...anybody???

My console is f'ed up as well, it pops up when i press ~ but it doesnt seem to read the commands i type. Me and my friend wanted to mess around with cheats but nothing worked

I just want to enable HDR + AA with the new beat patch and test it out, I'm not interested in cheats and such.

It sounds like the ~ to bring up the console is working for you, its not bringing up the console at all for me...even in Devmode.

Is there something in a config file that may have been changed that prevents the command console use? grasping at straws here as this is virtually a new FarCry installation with all official patches installed. Only the new beta patch installed on top.

yah the patch i just dled it and couldnt get the console to come up. Oh well who cares its still a great game.

LOL, how ironic, the patch kills the console, which you need to enable the features added with the patch. Obviously, this isn't happening for everybody since I've seen plenty of user feedback from using the patch.

Anyone know a workaround?

Bump it up for help.........anybody? I'd sure like to try this HDR and AA in FarCry.

Possibly a setting in a config or ini file that enables/disables FarCry's command console?
