Farcry 9800 pro issues

I just received a MSI RX9800 Pro card to replace my venerable Geforce 3 Ti200, and after trying to run Farcry, I noticed that all the animated stuff has severe "jaggies"--All around the perimeter of the objects there are jagged edges showing blue or black spaces. My frame rate is fine otherwise, but it looks horrible and I didn't pay $200 to have the game look like hell. I installed the Catalyst 4.7 drivers, and will try omega drivers next, but otherwise any ideas??

Other notes:
Farcry 1.1
P4 2.8C 800mhz
ASUS p4p800 deluxe
1GB ram
DX 9.0c (though it happened in b also)
winXp

MSI RX9800 Pro 128MB, shows up as 9800 XT in XP.

Augh!

Actually, no, I don't, but it is uncanny how similar our posts are...!

For those that are interested, the issue appears to be related to the Catalyst 4.7 drivers. Using 4.8 betas (from www.guru3d.com...link to follow?) cleared the issue. From most posts it looks to be with ati 9800/9700 cards with Cat 4.7 and Farcry (1.0 or 1.1). I can't speak for everyone.

Somewhat ironic however...the games bundle from MSI is almost exclusively Ubisoft, which also makes farcry, so why the heck would MSI let such a thing happen?

BTW I am amazed at the environment detail in this game, now that it looks the way it is supposed to. On the verge of playable with everything turned up 100% (AA/AF too), on my "eye-bench" it looks like about 13-18 fps.
