Sorry if this is a repost (searched for 'far cry/farcry' and 'movie/rock' and didn't see anything.) But I stumbled across this on IMDB a few minutes ago. I've actually yet to play the game (enjoyed the demo though and am about to buy it now that I'm done with Thief 3.)

Actually I don't hate the Rock. For pure action roles he's actually ideal with his light-hearted, over-the-top personality. I thought he was actually pretty decent in the Rundown (which is how I found this info.) I've yet to see Walking Tall, but that should be out on DVD soon and I plan on renting it even though I heard it wasn't that great.

The Rock hasn't made a bad movie yet. Not life altering either, but not bad for what they are.

I thought The Rock was great in The Rundown and Walking Tall.

Gets more flak than he deserves.

Off the top of my head Street Fighter The Movie (no van damme) and Fatal Fury were great video game movies. So yes. I'll come up with more after I get some dinner.

The Rock is not bad as an actor IMO...not the greatest, but he's miles ahead Van Damme and Stalone and even Arnold.
