Hello,

Everytime I play this game, it runs smooth for about 3 seconds and then I get a split second hiccup. This happens in continous loop throughout my gameplay. I have adjusted my video back and forth, ie. changed the resolution from 1024 x768 to 800 x 600 and back again, and still the same hiccup reoccurs. Also, I changed AA from none, low, and medium. Regardless what opition I choose, still a hiccup. I downloaded the latest Omega drivers, 2.536b and the 1.1 patch and this still does not resolve my issue. Can anyone offer me any advise? Thank you!

My specs are listed below.

This is a total newb response but I have fixed game hiccups like that by making sure others apps are not interfering and making sure my hard drive wasn't fragmented. Sorry , no real solution for ya.

O yeah, when you hit Ctrl ALt Delete and it shows total memory usage while game is running in back round, take that used memory number and subtract from the total memory, then compare you answer to "Available" memory. If it shows you have more available memory than what your "usage minus total" then you are using virtual memory. If you need a real example just ask. I just noticed this a week or so ago, I always figured you only need to have what the usage read out displays, but when I saw what the available memory was at , I put 1 and 1 together and found that systems are using more than that read out really shows.

When you're getting these "hiccups" is your HDD light coming on? Some levels can occupy in excess of 600-700mb of memory. I get that also on all my machines that don't have a 1 gig of memory.
