Far Cry issues

I had 9.0b and 61.76 installed one my system.

Loaded 9.0c, installed 61.77 over top of 61.76 and then installed Far Cry from disk, did not download any patches.

I thought the blue haze at the beginning (a kind of "wha... where am i" bump in the dark type of thing) was cool Xcept when I go outside it is still all there and the few plants that do show up looking normal take on this blue haze when I get closer to them.

This is on a Leadtek 5900 Ultra 256MB Ram...

Anyone else?

Once panic set it in that something might be wrong with my card I went and ran BFV with no problems.

Gonna go home and driver clean the nvidia drivers tonight and try again.

I always use driver cleaner as it has fixed many weird bugs I have had just installing on top of. I am not sure why people do that at all anymore...

Curiously I uninstalled NVidia Display drivers, driver cleaned, reinstalled nvidia and VOILA! Nothing Changed! :roll:

So, I did a system restore back to before I installed DX9.0c (DX9.0b and 61.76) and all is well. I installed the DX9.0c runtime and all is still well. I may try reapply the nVidia 61.77 drivers tonight.
