Far Cry Demo 2 and original demo sound issues? *Solved*

Hi guys,

First off I think this game is great but...I am having MAJOR sound issues with this game! I will play it and all is normal for like 5 minutes and then I hear this high pitched sound come through my speakers and some crackling/static and then there is no more audio until I restart the game!

I have a Sound Blaster Audigy LS sound card running on the latest creative drivers, and Windows XP. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated as I can't enjoy the game in its current state for me 🙁.


Apparently I had to turn off EAX to get this to stop...oh well.
