Far Cry and extra content patch on 32-bit OS

hello. I'm wondering if it's ok to install the extra content patch that was meant for 64 bit OS on a 32 bit windows XP ?

will it ruin performance or will it still run ok and look better ?
 
think it turns the game into 64bit.. so.. dont think you can install it, and even that I dont think you can run it if it installs
 
Someone here ( i think dug77, but not sure) posted an extensive write up to run the 64 bit stuff on 32 bit.
