Far Cry 3 "bricked".

So Far Cry 3 only lets you have one save file. The file gets loaded on the ubisoft cloud. So does anyone know how to fix it when your save gets corrupted? When I try to launch the game it crashes immediately. There seems to be no way to revert or delete the cloud or local save. I already tried reinstalling the game. I can't change accounts because the game is registered to my account. Did the game crashing on me just cause the game itself to "brick"?

Haven't had any solution as of yet, ubisoft has been no help whatsoever. I will never buy another ubisoft game, this is absurd.

I never had a problem with it.

I've played FC3 multiple times, and with multiple mods....

Just install Ziggys Mod and start over...

I can't start over. I can't launch the game because the cloud data is corrupted. Disabling the cloud options doesn't even work.

Can you launch uplay; disable online or cloud data and then launch farcry ?

Can you just start a new game? Apparently you cant, but I dont see how corrupted save data could prevent starting a new game. Maybe the client or game itself are corrupted. Have you tried uninstalling U-Play and the game itself and reinstalling them?

I had the same problem with Steam cloud saves. Even though I said to use the local save, it somehow loaded the cloud save and cost me hours of progress. Even though I had backup saves on a local disk, I could never load them, even if Steam was offline. Cloud saves sound like a great idea, but in practice, I think they cause more problem than good.

This suggestion sounds like it will wipe out all your saved game data, but it might fix your issue.

I just Disable the Saves synchronization and then,
Deleted the local savegames,
folder location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\XXXXXXXXXXXXX\46
XXXXXXXXXXX is something long spelling - might be user dependent, or might not be.
All save data gone but started to work correctly.
Just re-started a new game, but there might be right process to keep the old savedata and recover...
Anyway, just for your information.
