I believe this is a universal price drop. I saw this for $19.99 at Best Buy today too, and i think it's the same price at Gamestop.

Yeah, played just fine on my 128MB ti4200. 1024x768 with med settings.

EDIT: That was on with a P4 2.4ghz 533fsb cpu.
 
Got mine on BF at Fry's for $15 and love the game, even though I'm not much of a gamer. I would be willing to pay $19.99 for this and i think I will as a gift for a friend. Thanks OP will check the local TGT stores for inventory.
 
I know this is OT but did anyone have any probs with FarCry in devmode reading the DevMode.lua file? I've got the 1.3 patch loaded and am using the '-devmode' command line switch, and when I bring up the console it says that DEVMODE is enabled, but it won't read the file. It's in the base FarCry program directory.

Yes, I'm trying to cheat my way past the last (Volcano) level, it's a gold-plated b*tch for me on Challenging.

v1.31 is the latest . . . . i can't help with cheats since i just started. 😛

BTW, there is no "anytime" save although there is 1) a hack to quicksave and 2) you can save with a console command (that is accurate).

i got mine yesterday at Curseit City (just finished PK and BOoH while my FC patches were d/l'ing - which are also Bargain Bin $19.95 each everywhere) . . . just started it - runs SMOOTH and LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

[/quote]it'll look OK - D/L the demo!!! - but you'll miss the DX9 "eyecandy" (i didn't appreciate it on my R8500). My 9800xt plays everything ON and HI and Max except for minimal AA/AF (at 10x7). 🙂

 
Thanks for the response. I'm not having a prob saving and loading since you can easily do that with the \save_game and \load_game console commands. I've made it all the way through without cheats but now am looking for a little more health&ammo for the last level. If I can only get the prog to read the DevMode file then I might be able to make it; I've died so many times fighting Krieger that it's getting old.

All the cheat sites just say to enable -devmode and make sure the DevMode.lua is in the "/Program Files/Far Cry" dir, and that's what I have but no joy on the file read.
