Hiya, Asimmilator1 told me to look you up from the Overclockers.co.uk forum. Basically My setiQ will not upload any results.

I am using V 3.03.2.2a fo Seti Q. You can find my Web front end at http://dustymiller.myip.org:5517/default.htm

Seti Q will download new units. The CLI will send direct to Berkley, and recieve from Berkley without going through Seti Q.

but no matter what i do Seti Q will not send any Results back.

I really would appreciate any and all of help you can extend my way.

Cheers

Welcome to the Anandtech forums! :D I hope you enjoy your stay here :)

I cannot get to the address you gave, i was going to look at your settings :( From what you describe, it sounds like the "Upload results" option in Settings is set to false. Do your logs show any error messages from Berkeley?

These are the only things that i can think of at the moment, but i'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along soon and help out. Orange Kid should come on sometime soon too!

Dusty,

I am trying to hit your queue through the web interface and it is not coming up for me. Could you verify that the address you have listed above is correct with the correct port number. Once I can see it on the web I will give your settings a look over and see if I see anything out of whack :)

What about now.

The only error I get is this one.

20:34: Sending Result: SendRequest to shserver2.ssl.berkeley.edu failed: connection was reset

That sounds like what happens when there is a problem with Berkeley and it isn't accepting results :(

From the GUI screen under the file menu select ping Seti Server and see if it successfully pings Berkeley.

DustyMiller, Is this the first time you have tried to use SetiQueue? Or did you previously run an earlier version and have upgraded to the latest version?

How did you go about upgrading? Did you install over the top or just download the executable and replace it?

The reason I asked is I too have had enormous troubles with SetiQueue in the past two weeks. It's rather lengthy but you might give this thread a glance: TeAm Smokeball has Lost/Found it Q

I just reviewed some of the threads in the OcUK and there appear to be several others also having problems with their Qs. Hmmm.

The short of my problem was my "router". Replacing it got everything going again.

I don't use Win XP, but I believe it has a built in firewall have you checked it to make sure that it is not interfering?

Win Xp's firewall is PAP, and as such has bben disabled, Zonealarm is running, and has Seti Q to be allowed to act as server, and allow connect. Tried stopping Zonealarm but that did diddly squat.

I can see your Q no probs:)

Linkified DustMillers SETIQ

[update]
I've found your problem! ,its in the 'settings' screen

Upload pending results 'disabled '

As someone metioned.
This probably occured during an upgrade ,its happened to me once too ,was originally set to enabled then after an upgrade found it disabled!

Good job guys, now we have to worry about another competitor's WUs. We will have to think of something else to sabotage his SETIQueue........ ;)

j/k

Glad to see it was fixed.... :)
