Fantasy Trade...Trade Peyton Manning for S.Davis and C.Portis???

So I am in a league where yards count a lot...TD's count too, but Yardage is important

right now my team is and the points they have
QB Palmer 2880
WR Ji. Smith 1437
WR TJ Houshmandzadeh 1365
RB T. Jones 1836
RB C. Brown 1292
TE Crumpler 1159
WR/RB L. Coles or C. Perry 1115 or 1245

I have PManning with 2116 on the bench

I was offered
C. Portis 1563
S. Davis 1251

for
Manning and A. Stecker

would def. improve one of my RB positions...I also have J.Lewis but he hasnt done anything

the only problem is I would have to pick up a scrub QB in place of Palmer for his bye week...he has a. brooks and s. moss, but I doubt i could get either of those off of him
 
yeah davis wouldnt probably get the start on my team, but C.Portis would, so that would be an improvement...maybe if i could get a.brooks instead of davis for the bengals bye week...hmmm
 
I think Stephen Davis has 8 TD's from the 1 yard line (9 TD's so far this year in 7 games). He's a good lock that he'll give you a TD, maybe even a game or two where he runs for over 100 yards.
 
I have the misfortune of having Portis on my team this year. He hasn't done much for me. I couldn't recommend him.

well if you look at the points he would be better then c.brown or j.lewis and manning is just sitting on my bench

maybe ill offer him portis and holt for manning
 
your league is yard heavy try trading for a single rb whos good yardage gainer. 1 up trade for a better rb.

you dont really need a davis who get 30 yards and a td

you want 100 yard rushers in your league. get a single rb whos better for manning.
 
It would be a lot easier to recommend a counter if we knew the other guy's roster.

Oh, and in your fantasy football scoring system, your guys must get a point added for appearing onfield during a play from scrimmage. 3000 points? That's some hardcore, postwar-Deutschemark inflation right there. :laugh:
 
Davis, the TD machine. Like I said before he probably wont get you a lot of yardage, but he'll give you a lot of TD's.
