Da Loser is saying Manning isn't any good because he had ONE BAD GAME, manning who has proven to be a FF god over the last 4 yrs.

Actually he had 2 decent seasons.
He did very well in his rookie season.

Yeah he might be in for a bad year only because Carr is so god damm aweful.
But one thing though...Johnson has proven he CAN be a top receiver.

where did i say manning is going to be bad or imply i'm trying to help you? was that before or after the insult #2? all i've said is manning is not necessarily going to be awesome like last year. i'm not going to bet the farm on him and trade a top rb and wr, seeing as how i'm doing perfectly fine and leading the league. you obviously think he's going to have a stellar year, so good luck with that. and remember to have fun, i know it's hard when you're in the cellar, but try FOR MY SAKE, lol. btw, like it or not NOBODY does a trade unless they feel like they have something in it for them. WHAT did you offer me that makes me feel like there is ANYTHING in it for me? every player you've offered me is inferior to the player he's being traded for.

maybe it's because you're ranked 8 out of 10 and you've scored a total of 175pts, seems closer to the low of 159 than the one above you at 218.

as far as what's in it for you? you already feel there's nothing in it for you. however, my judgement of your moves and lineup are as follows:
1)didn't show up for the draft, doesn't seem like you care that much, so you see this league as more fun than competition. has a family, picks a lineup each week, and goes back to work. from this thread, that's a major underestimation, dare i call it, an INSULT
2)panicked, picked up frisman, jacobs, and chris baker
3)cowboys homer, picked up terry glenn and chose to drop andre instead of frisman
4)starting frisman over porter in the weekly lineup as well, doesn't seem to give porter much value

That said, you guys should probably do your trashtalking on your league page, that way your league members get to enjoy it.

EDIT2: BTW, da loser, just because he doesn't pay attention, does not mean that he is underestimating and insulting you. He just has other priorities. When I first started doing FF, looking back, I spent way too much time on it. Lately, I use a much more moderate approach, i.e. watching some games, trying to keep up to date on the news (not necessarily the second stories broke). The only thing I spent A LOT of time on was draft preparation. After that, there really isn't that much to do (unless you had a really poor draft or a lot of unlucky injuries). You set your lineups weekly and read the news once a day. Look to improve your team by making some waiver pickups and/or possibly a trade or two over the course of the season. It is possible to read and analyze TOO MUCH as you can end up chasing too many dead end rumors or picking up too many one week wonders or backups who end up not playing. Plus if you're in leagues with the same guys year after year (as I am) you tend to know each other's tendencies, as well as learn your lessons from their and your mistakes (bad trades, panic moves etc). All this is just to say that it's tough to say that everyone should spend the same amount of time on FF (as in A LOT OF TIME). Those who choose to do so, do it and others choose not to and don't. Sometimes the people who work harder win and sometimes the winner is just the "luckiest" person. Your trashtalking is quite entertaining though.

Ah. That's the league you and PlatGold are talking about. I've gotta mark that thread and checkup on it from time to time. Not to mention I could always use some new smack material for my leagues.
