fantasy football question: RB's on the waiver wire

so Mike Anderson and J.J. Arrington became available. i think i'm weak at RB (C.Dillon, R.Johnson, and T.Bell). should i pick one of them up? i just picked up Stephen Davis on a gamble to see if he's any good.

btw, thanks to yahoo's autodraft, i have a surplus of QB's: Trent Green, Kerry Collins (i also have Moss), and Hasselback. is Hasselback the most expendable of the three? we only play 1 QB, so i've been hoping a RB prospect becomes available to drop a QB and pick up a RB.

stephen davis is a good pickup. i dont think i would go for mike anderson or jj arrington. mike's always injured and jj just plays for a crap ass team. i would hold onto bell and see what he can do in the next two weeks.

is it worth picking up Anderson and seeing whether him or Bell are better, since they're on the same team? Anderson seems to be higher on the depth charts.

i wouldn't exactly say you're weak at rb. what's funny is, the guy i'm playing this week in my sportsline league is starting dillon and johnson, so they're guaranteed to have huge weeks.

if u have an available spot on ur roster, i guess it would not hurt. otherwise, it depends on who you would need to drop in order to make room for anderson.

i think Collins is the most expendable of the three
edit you could try and trade two of ur QBs for anther RB or WR??

what about having Randy Moss? i thought that having a QB/WR combo like that was desirable?

actually, i would think that green and hasselback are more expendable. both the chiefs and seahawks have elite RB's and pretty weak recievers. in oakland, you know the ball is gonna be aired out, esp with moss around. sure, collins will get some int's and fumbles, but i think he will have more then enough passing yards and TDs to cover.

i personally would keep collins.. he's not the best of the 3 qb's, but you've got moss, so the combo is worth more in my opinion.. think about when you play the team that gets collins.. moss will be completely taken out of the game...

anderson isn't doign so well, and i think is listed as probable.. neither bell or anderson are supposed to have a good week against SD (according to analysts).. i think dillon and johnson are gonna have a great week.. get rid of one qb either via trade or just drop one to pick up another player sometime down the road

I would take Anderson if he weren't injured (I had him week one in a salary cap league). Once he is healthy Anderson should take over the top spot again, unless Bell has a breakout game within the next 2.

I'd say Anderson, but I'm not sure who you'd cut?

I've got Anderson and Bell in my league, usually the Denver RB produces big points, going all the way back to T. D.. Just have to carry two spots this year and be sure you start the right one. On the other hand, Denver's O line might be on a serious decline. 🙁
