fantasy football draft

holmes. definitely. LT is behind horrible SD line. and they always stack the box against him because the QB is not good.

Skillwise, Tomlinson is more gifted but the chargers Offensive line is a joke.

I'd take Holmes (even though he might not be as good as last year) or Clinton Portis (I have my reasons)

I would take Holmes, then Ahman Green. Tomlinson doesn't have the support he needs to put up the big numbers. He'll do ok, but every yard he gets will be mostly by his own talent. Unless he starts running like Barry Sanders, he shouldn't be your #1 pick.

LT gets a lot of catches out of the backfield tho. but yeah... i guess u guys make a good point... KC has a monster O-line... that only helps rb's 😛

Don't forget (all of you) that the Chiefs lost their best offensive tackle to Chicago (why does his name escape me right now?). Now that CLEARLY doesn't mean that their O-line is going to be worse this year than San Diego's, but it will diminish Priest's numbers ever-so-slightly.

On the other hand, I think Priest will retire after this season. He''s said that he considered retiring this season already, but decieded to play at least this year. Therefore, he'll be running for a ring. Tomlinson, on the other hand, only needs to run well enough that someone will pick him up once the Chargers can't hold onto him any more.

Am I the only one who still automatically thinks Lawrence Taylor when someone says LT?

Any Denver RB is a good middle to late pickup. I think Griffin will be the starter so if he's avaiilable late you should pick him up. As for the first pick, get Holmes.

LT was a monster last year with a horrible team. I loved him. Holmes is the de facto #1, but you can't go wrong with LT.

LT went #2. the guy who picked vick #3... he picked alge crumpler in the second round

hahah I see. My friend always picks SD guys, except when someone picked LT before him. He was pissed off

I'd pick ricky williams, then try to trade him. Sure, it could work out poorly but if anyone accepts the trade then you have some valuable information (i.e. that guy is stupid and you should do all trading with him).

damn the dude picking #3 is horrible. so far his picks are.... vick, crumpler, janikowski, philly def, jerry porter, tim brown....

He's got a great team for 2002.

John Tait is the OT.

Anyway, I think you have to go with Priest. LT is a great back, but Priest has put up rediculous numbers the past couple years. A guy in my league had him two years in a row, and won both years. I keep waiting for his numbers to fall off, but they certainly didn't last year. No one can blame you for taking Holmes at #1.
