I thought I drafted really well at #5 in an 8 team league. Then Chrissy Simms killed me by giving Galloway 0 rec. and the Bal defense 3 (25 pts. total).

What should I do?

I'm not looking at the schedule right now so you may have the other games listed incorrectly, but KC plays in Denver, not vice versa.

Anyway, I believe Benson looked like he was ready to shoulder a bigger load this past weekend so Thomas Jones is going to be splitting time. I'd go with Portis, regardless.

Galloway v. Smith is tough, but I think Tampa Bay could be looking at a long season and losing more games means they'll be passing more. My Chiefs appear to actually have a competent secondary this year anchored by Law & Surtain so Rod Smith may not kill us this year. So I'd start Galloway.

i went 2-1 with one league that starts with week 2 otherwise i would have gone 3-1....only loss i had was in the ATOT league...damn you guys!@!!@@#! But i will bounce back for week 2....

Hasselback sucked for me too - but my running backs picked me up. I was thinking of picking up the SD defense after that monday night performace. Are they for real or do the Raiders just suck!?

i'd say it was a lil of both...Charger D being good and the Raiders just plain sucking...

Last year SD had the #1 Run defense. So that is a plus. But, Oakland is rather sucktastic...so it's not a good gauge to actual defensive ability.

SD's def is good...however they play in a high scoring AFC West...I wouldn't start them against the Broncos or the Chiefs when they're healthy....

Yeah it's soooo tempting when they get 9 sacks - Merriman is a monster, imagine if they had Foley. Also I noticed my recievers were pretty weak - any sleepers out there?

Antonio Bryant (SF) may be a good sleeper if SF can muster up any semblance of an offense.

I was 3-2 in my leagues. I had one dominant performance, 2 middle of the road, and 2 so-so. But I am getting several injured players back this week on my 2 losers so things are looking up.
