I decided to do a fantasy draft as a trial one for some other leagues I'm in, and I completely winged it... not sure if I am too happy with the results. Any advice for who I should target in trades would be nice.

The cats are FG%, FT%, Pts, Rebs, Assists, Blocks, Steals, 3's, A/T, and the league format is H2H.

Using "UG", "UF" as utility guard/forward to keep the formatting neat.

The team:

PG - Wade
SG - T. Mac
UG - Hinrich
SF - G. Wallace
PF - D. West
UF - Artest
C - LaFrentz
UT - Villanueva
BN - S. Claxton
BN - Bonzi Wells
BN - Ricky Davis
BN - P.J. Brown
BN - Delonte West
BN - Luol Deng
BN - Barbosa

Hmm, I don't remember at the moment how many teams are in the league (can't access my roster from work) but there are either 10 or 12. I had the 5th overall pick.

well i probably wouldn't have gone with dwade. I prefer lebron, the matrix, KG, kobe, and dirk over him. maybe even brand.

next, you could have probably gotten somebody better than tmac, unless he has a sold, healthy full year, and you still might have gotten someone better. That is based on there being 12 teams.

huge bench, but no one too great on there. gerald wallace and david west aren't that great, neither is lafrentz for the most part. in a 12 team league, I don't think the team is that special, so if its 10 teams, I think you are in trouble.

Well I also prefer lebron, matrix, KG and dirk, but those players were not an option.

I really should not have taken tmac second... I believe AI was available as a better option.

The team isn't good, that much I know, but what I'm more interested in is knowing what kind of moves I should make.

A guy like G. Wallace actually has huge value in this league, as he simulatenous fills two of the harder stats to get, those being steals and blocks.

EDIT: BTW I don't like LaFrentz either... a mistake pick. Would I be better of with Nazr Mohammad? If he gets enough time he can definitely board a lot, but I don't know how much action he'll see on Detroit even though he is listed as a starter.

don't think theres much value in nazr. lafrentz is ok. he is one of the few centers who shoots 3's. his percentages are pretty bad though.

i'll agree with wallace. now, if lebron, KG, dirk, and the matrix weren't available, then kobe was, then you should have ran away with kobe. you said you were 5th pick correct? those are 5 guys I would prefer

We just had our draft as well, and they opened up an extra spot for the bench, any recommendations for any studs or sleepers I should pick up?

Yea for me it was a toss up between Kobe and Wade... I hear Wade has been practicing his 3, so I decided to give him a shot. If he starts hitting them like he did in the playoffs he'll be as good as or better than Kobe IMO.

Too bad most of my team is ass :brokenheart:

Your team is desperately lacking quality "bigs". You have no real good center(s) or PF's.

I like G. Wallace and Artest, they will get you good blocks and steals at their postions. That should help your team since you lacking good centers.

Yeh, the OP has a horribly balanced roster. Absolutely no depth at the PF/C spot. Half the nights he plays he won't even be able to fill those positions.
