My team is below (roto league, 12 teams). I'm very puzzled by this one. Sure, I'd love to get the top (or one of the top 2) Cs in the game, and Matsuzaka is nice, too, although I'm unsure if he'll be dominant all season. Holliday is the best player of the bunch, though, although at a more stacked position. Cuddyer's also one of the most underrated players in the game.

I'm trying to get Utley for Uggla thrown in to sweeten the deal (with me giving up more talent if I have to), but am I crazy for not taking this? I resist the sexy name appeal of Mauer and Matsuzaka...

Personally I'd probably take the trade, but would only definitely take it if you can swing the Utley for Uggla portion. You could use some help at SP and Dice-K, though I don't think he'll be dominant all season, should be decent. Mauer is an upgrade over Barret and Markakis isn't bad.
 
A lot of people think Markakis is going to be the Grady Sizemore of this year...


If thats true, could be a hell of a deal for you.
 
I'm a biased O's fan, but I genuinely believe that Markakis is a very good player and could break out this year. He's got very good plate discipline and has power.
 
That trade is already wildly in your favor... Utlet for Uggla would just make it ridiculous. Take it immediately, IMO.
